CEMIT offers their research and development partners the project- and programme management of national and international research programmes in the fields of Life Science, Medicine and IT.
In December 2009 Bernhard Hofer, took over the interim CEO position of the cancer research center ONCOTYROL Center for Personalized Cancer Medicine. The previous CEO Philipp Unterholzner has recently taken up an executive post at UMIT – The Health and Life Sciences University in Hall. CEMIT - the Center of Excellence in Medicine and IT in which Philipp Unterholzner was also CEO will continue to be managed by the remaining CEO Claudius Kaloczy.
